An Evening With My Therapist is a live show and after-show meet and greet rolled into one hilarious and brain-changing evening! It promises to be funny and entertaining, while challenging the stigma and outdated views of mental health and therapy. It will inspire change for people individually and as a collective – because it is time to do things differently. This event is designed to make sense of your experiences through sharing stories and education to get that you are not what your brain has been doing and that we can change how it’s been!
Doors open at 7:00 PM, and I’ll be taking the stage at 7:30 PM! After the show, there is an exclusive Meet & Greet at Black Bellows in their private parlour. It’s a great opportunity to meet, connect, and share in the excitement of the show experience!
Come on your own or make it a night out with your partner or friends. June 10th will be an experience of a whole new way to approach mental health!

Doors open at 7pm at the Simcoe Street Theatre, so come early to connect with others, peruse some stunning local art, and pose for your best Insta worthy photo yet! Then once you take your seat, it’ll be show time!
It’s time to learn a new way of doing things. During the show, I will share hilarious anecdotes and education on how your brain has been playing you. This night out is about having fun, being entertained, connecting with those around you, and experiencing some serious ‘aha’ moments! The conversation begins at the show, and will continue across the street at Black Bellows Brewing Company, in their private parlour, for a meet and greet with me!

Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be food or drinks available?
Food or drinks will not be provided at the Simcoe Street Theatre, however will be available for purchase at Black Bellows for the After Show Meet and Greet. Reusable water bottles are permitted at the theatre.
What is the minimum age for the show?
This is an 18+ event, however I encourage you to continue and share these conversations with your teens and young ones. If you need support for this, please let me know as I provide therapy for all ages.
Does Simcoe Street Theatre have parking?
There is no dedicated theatre parking, however there are several public parking lots and street parking available, all of which is free after 6pm.
Are seats assigned at the theatre?
All tickets are general admission so make sure you get there early to get your seat!
I’m coming from out of town, where should I stay?
Collingwood has many Airbnbs and great hotels to stay at. My favourite that I highly recommend is 11 Rooms, located at 128 St. Paul Street, which is only a 3 minute walk to the theatre!
